Complex shapes of cross-linked thermosets can be obtained just by local heating. This image relates to a paper that appeared in the Nov. 18, 2011, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by D. Montarnal of CNRS in Paris, France, and colleagues, was titled, “Silica-Like Malleable Materials from Permanent Organic Networks.”
