This is amap of states with nonpowder gun control laws. A total of 22 states regulate use and possession of nonpowder guns. States that define some or all nonpowder guns as firearms: Illinous, Michigan, New Jersey, Rhode Island. States that identify nonpowder guns as dangerous weapons: Connecticut, Delaware, North Dakota. States that impose age restrictions on possession and use of nonpowder guns: Californa, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virigina. States that regulate possession of nonpowder guns on school grounds: California, Colorado, Delaware, Minnesota, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin. The District of Columbia also imposes age restrictions on nonpowder gun use.
