Layered lava flows of the Deccan Traps east of Mumbai, India. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Oct. 2 2015, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by P.R. Renne; C.J. Sprain at Berkeley Geochronology Center in Berkeley, CA, and colleagues was titled, "State shift in Deccan volcanism at the Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary, possibly induced by impact."
