AIRS image of Rita (IMAGE) NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Caption On Nov. 26 at 0224 UTC (Nov. 25 at 9:24 p.m. EST) NASA's Aqua satellite analyzed Tropical Storm Rita's clouds using the AIRS instrument. AIRS showed the strongest storms southeast of the center where the coldest cloud top temperatures as cold as or colder than 210 Kelvin (purple) minus 81 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 63.1 degrees Celsius) around the center.
