A research team at the Wyss Institute and Harvard Medical School has developed a nasal swab collection technology enabling high-throughput automated sample processing for molecular diagnosis of respiratory diseases including COVID-19. The technology could cut down the time from sample collection to diagnosis by a factor of 10 or more.
