Top: The Great White Spot of Saturn was observed by the Cassini space probe orbiting the planet on the Feb. 26, 2011, and compared with the Earth in size. The head of the storm is amplified in the right hand part of the picture. Bottom: Map of the winds at the head of the storm, where the arrows represent the typical intensity of the wind at up to 500 km/h, is reaching maximum values of 600 km/h in certain zones.
