Combining the density functional theory and experiments: Stabilising electrochemical interfaces using boron Lewis acids (IMAGE)
Caption
Marios (representing ions of electrolyte) travel on the surface of electrode freely, and some monsters (representing various oxygencontaining functional groups) are trapped by bines (representing the boron Lewis acids). By the surface modification of boron species and optimization of BCO2 quantity, the BG800 establishes ultralow leak current, improved cyclic stability, and better rate performance in SBPBF4/PC.
