Children with RT had fewer germinal center T follicular helper cells in their tonsils compared to children without RT. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Feb. 06, 2019, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by J.M. Dan at La Jolla Institute for Immunology (LJI) in La Jolla, CA; and colleagues was titled, "Recurrent group A Streptococcus tonsillitis is an immunosusceptibility disease involving antibody deficiency and aberrantFH cells."
