This is optical sensing of sulphur emissions by plane in the Port of Gothenburg. This gives an initial rough indication that a vessel is releasing too much sulphur; the results must then be confirmed with a physical/chemical analysis. The vessel in the film is not breaking the rules, because the recording was made before the sulphur regulations were tightened.
