Stuttgart researchers are writing the alphabet using micro-particles by modulating sound pressure profiles. Depending on the sound pressure, the particles collect and form letters. With the letter images, the team demonstrates the possibilities of the ultrasound modulator, which will likely be used primarily in medicine.
