Micro CT scan images of the tibia in three rat specimens. In the right image, a specimen given bisphosphonates without inhibiting the Siglec-15 protein shows signs of reduced growth (white arrows) as well as an overall rounder structure indicating malformation (yellow arrows) compared to the central image, in which Siglec-15 was inhibited. The left image shows a control group specimen.
