Scientists Use Photogrammetry Technique (20cm) Parallel to the Shark (IMAGE)
Caption
Scientists at the Bimini Biological Research Station in the Bahamas show the laser photogrammetry technique in action: pointing two lasers of a known distance (20cm) parallel to the shark. This is a non-invasive technique in which we can accurately estimate the size of sensitive animals, such as the great hammerhead shark.
