GPM is the Global Precipitation Measurement mission core satellite, a joint mission between NASA and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. NASA's IMERG calculated that the greatest rainfall total estimates between July 19 and 26 were located north of Oahu where 480 mm (18.9 inches) fell.
