NASA's Global Hawk Departs 'Sea of Green' for Atlantic

NASA's Global Hawk No. 872 departed from a runway surrounded by a sea of green grass at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility on Sunday, Sept. 28. The Global Hawk flew its tenth science flight over the Atlantic Ocean between the Caribbean Sea and western Africa, an area known as the main development region for tropical cyclones.
