Hot Spots of Marine Biodiversity Also Most Severely Impacted by Global Warming (5 of 5) (VIDEO)
Caption
Little penguins (Eudyptula minor) are making their way to the colony at dusk after returning ashore from a fishing trip. This video was taken on the southeast coast of Australia, an area that matches with one of the proposed marine hot spots with high biodiversity. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Feb. 22 2017, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by F. Ramírez at Estación Biológica de Doñana in Sevilla, Spain, and colleagues was titled, "Climate impacts on global hot spots of marine biodiversity."
