This is a movie of a contracting bluefin tuna heart cell with patch clamp electrode. This video relates to a paper that appeared in the 14 Feb., 2014, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Fabien Brette at Stanford University in Pacific Grove, Calif., and colleagues was titled, "Crude Oil Impairs Cardiac Excitation-Contraction Coupling in Fish."
