Environmental Chambers (IMAGE) DOE/Pacific Northwest National Laboratory Caption Three 3-station single-sided controlled atmosphere environmental chambers located in the William R. Wiley Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory allow for spectroscopic analysis in a controlled atmosphere. Each station has the necessary gas purification and filtration equipment for maintaining an oxygen- and moisture-free atmosphere of nitrogen at ambient pressure and temperature.
