Researcher and coauthor author, Owyn Snodgrass, preparing an opah for release with an intramuscular temperature data logger. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the May 15, 2015 issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by N.C. Wegner at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in La Jolla, CA, and colleagues was titled, 'Whole-body endothermy in a mesopelagic fish, the opah, Lampris guttatus.'
