Facial Image Matching Test (IMAGE) University of New South Wales Caption Example of the types of image matching trials presented to examiners in the experiments. Each test consisted of a pair of images and participants had to decide if images were of the same person or of different people. The images in the upright column measure ability to identify face images. The images in the inverted column were included to assess whether examiners used different strategies to identify faces. The images in the person identification require examiners to use the face and body for recognition. Image pairs in each column in this example are of different people.
