UConn Rainforest Now Home to Collection of Unique Ginger Relatives

The Kress Collection now home in the UConn Rainforest is currently becoming established. The collection, secured from the Smithsonian, is home to a number of unique species, some of which are likely the only specimens of their species in cultivation in the world. The collection will begin flowering in the Spring of 2020.
