GPM Image of 21E (IMAGE) NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Caption The GPM core satellite passed over Tropical Depression 21E in the Eastern Pacific Ocean on Nov. 18 at 0046 UTC (Nov. 17 at 7:46 p.m. EST) and found a few areas of light rain (blue) falling at a rate of 0.4 inches (10 mm) per hour and one small area of heavy rain (orange) where rain was falling at a rate of 1 inch (25 mm) per hour.
