COHERENT collaborators were the first to observe coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering. Their results, published in the journal Science, confirm a prediction of the Standard Model and establish constraints on alternative theoretical models. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 3 August, online issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by D. Akimov at Institute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics in Moscow, Russia, and colleagues was titled, 'Observation of coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering.'
