In a two photon experiment, when the photons are the same, they either both go one way or both the other, but never one in each direction. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Feb. 26, 2016, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Y. Zhang at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in Pretoria, South Africa, and colleagues was titled, "Engineering two-photon high-dimensional states through quantum interference."
