Axial statistical maps show areas of reduced thalamic functional connectivity in patients with MS compared with that in healthy subjects. Patients exhibited significantly lower FC in clusters located in the cerebellum, frontal and occipital cortices, caudate nucleus, and thalamus, bilaterally.
