This image relates to a paper that appeared in the May 25, 2011, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by Dr. C. Vinegoni of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Mass., and colleagues, was titled, “Indocyanine Green Enables Near-Infrared Fluorescence Imaging of Lipid-Rich, Inflamed Atherosclerotic Plaques.”
