The Liang Bua cave where remains of Homo floresiensis were discovered is located a few kilometers from the village of Rampasasa. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Aug. 3, 2018, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Serena Tucci at Princeton University in Princeton, NJ, and colleagues was titled, "Evolutionary history and adaptation of a human pygmy population of Flores Island, Indonesia."
