NASA's Hurricane and Severe Storms Sentinel or HS3 mission for 2013 has come to a close. This montage of photos shows NASA's Global Hawk 872 (NASA 872) departing from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Va. NASA 872 departed at 9:49 a.m. EDT on Sept. 26, 2013 on a 10 hour flight back to NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. The photo in the lower left corner includes a chase plane from NASA Wallops.
