This is a photograph of the Tacuarí trace fossils, illustrating typical bilobate and sinuous trails. This image relates to a paper that appeared in the June 29, 2012, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Ernesto Pecoits at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, AB, Canada, and colleagues was titled, "Bilaterian Burrows and Grazing Behavior at >585 Million Years Ago."
