Educated at King's College London, Cambridge, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard Business School, Dr. Sindi became the first female from the Gulf to earn a Ph.D. in biotechnology. In addition to her Institute for Imagination and Ingenuity (i2institute.org) in Saudi Arabia, she is co-founder of Diagnostics For All, creating novel, affordable point-of-care diagnostic tools for impoverished people.
