Molecular structure of essential light chain protein in Plasmodium glideosome. The blue "clouds" represent electron density of the protein, with bonds between atoms indicated in yellow and water molecular indicated in red. The crystal structure at 1.5 Å phased by Sulphur-SAD was obtained using the Petra III beamline, at EMBL Hamburg.
