This NASA infrared Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) satellite image from August 18 at 19:23 UTC (3:23 p.m. EDT) revealed Tropical Depression 5's remnant showers and clouds (blue) stretch from Louisiana northeast into Tennessee.
