The tragic climax was the Srebrenica massacre, during which more than 8,000 Bosniaks were murdered in July 1995. A memorial was set up to commemorate the victims. In a new study based on game theory experiments, researchers have found that hostile behavior towards other ethnic groups has contagious effects.
