Newborn mice infected with Cryptosporidium had less parasites in the intestines when treated with the compound AN3661 (bottom). This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Nov. 6, 2019, issue of Science Translational Medicine, published by AAAS. The paper, by C. Swale at University Grenoble Alpes in Grenoble, France; and colleagues was titled, "Metal-captured inhibition of pre-mRNA processing activity by CPSF3 controls Cryptosporidium infection."
