Nasonia males are fighting on a host from which females are about to emerge. Wings raised off the back is an aggressive display. This image relates to an article that appeared in the January 15, 2010, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. J.H. Werren at University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y., and colleagues, was titled, "Functional and Evolutionary Insights from the Genomes of Three Parasitoid Nasonia Species."
