Perform Motor (Left) or Cognitive (Right) Tasks (IMAGE)
Caption
Frontoparietal network activities when subjects perform motor (left) or cognitive (right) tasks. The brain activity linked to these different tasks overlaps in the parietal-posterior part of the frontoparietal network, as well as in a region of the frontal lobes called the premotor cortex. In between, there is the motor and primary somatosensory cortex, activated only by the execution of arm movements.
