A two-color fluorescence microscopy image shows liquid droplets made from an arginine-rich protein and a purine-rich RNA. The blue and red droplets are made from the same materials (both protein and RNA), but tagged with different dyes to aid visualization. In many places, the droplets -- floating freely in a solution -- coexist but don't mix.
