Researchers at Arizona State University, University of Maryland and Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique in France have found that adult bees use the changing pheromone signals of young bees to adjust their foraging behavior. The increase in pollen collecting behavior linked to young brood may have implications for bee keepers and agricultural crops.
