This is Artemisia annua, the plant from which artemisinin is derived. This image relates to a paper that appeared in the April 6, 2012, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The paper, by Ian Cheeseman at the Texas Biomedical Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas, and colleagues was titled, "A Major Genome Region Underlying Artemisinin Resistance in Malaria."
