Deuteronilus Mensae Region on Mars (IMAGE) European Space Agency Caption This image shows the Deuteronilus Mensae region on Mars, an area primarily characterized by glacial features. It was taken on 14 March 2005 (orbit number 1483) by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) onboard ESA’s Mars Express with a ground resolution of approximately 29 metres per pixel. The area is located on the northern edge of Arabia Terra and borders the southern high- and northern lowlands, at approximately 39° North and 23° East.
