Researchers at the University of Copenhagen have developed an optical fingerprint that can be affixed to all products and used to guarantee authenticity. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 26 January 2018, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by M.R. Carro-Temboury at University of Copenhagen in København, Denmark, and colleagues was titled, "An optical authentication system based on imaging of excitation-selected lanthanide luminescence."
