The report provides: * A final report card on the 20 Aichi biodiversity targets (2010-2020) and lessons learned as nations negotiate a global framework and targets for managing nature over the rest of this decade, to be agreed at CBD's 193 member nations at COP15 next May in China. * An authoritative synthesis of the state of nature based on thousands of scientific papers and other sources, including last year's IPBES report, underlining the huge stakes involved and the urgency to act, citing eight transformative changes needed.
