A recent study of computer science students’ achievement in North Carolina high schools found that instructors’ teaching experience both in general and in computer science specifically had the most significant impact on student learning, not whether faculty members were licensed to teach that subject. Education policy, organization and leadership professor Paul Bruno conducted the research.
