Virginia Tech researchers John Janiga, Dzenis Mahmutovic (seated), Katherine Brown, and lead investigator Carla Finkielstein work together in the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC to develop a test that could help doctors identify cancer patients at risk for severe chemotherapy side effects.
