Norepinephrine calms inflammatory processes in the brain (IMAGE)
Caption
Microglia are very dynamic and constantly extending and retracting processes to explore and monitor the brain. In this image from the new University of Rochester study, white shows the microglial cell bodies, green shows processes from the cells that are extending, while magenta shows processes that are retracting as a result of norepinephrine signaling.
