A study of the New Sunshine Hospital School Program in China brings a new perspective to a global public and educational issue, calling for ongoing reflection and evaluation of the educational well-being of all children. The program has developed unique teaching strategies and management models which are distinct from Western counterparts, contributing valuable insights to the global challenge of meeting the educational needs of long-term hospitalized children.
