Figure 6: Effect of TIMPs and minimal TIMP variants on the invasion of A172 cell line. (A) Representative image of invasion A172 cell line in the presence and absence of TIMP-1, TIMP-3, mTC1, and mTC3. The cells were fixed in 100% methanol, stained with 2% crystal violet, and then visualized by light microscopy using an 10X magnification lens. (B) The percentage of invaded cells was counted using the ImageJ software and normalized to the count of untreated cells. The statistical significance was obtained using One-way ANOVA. ****p < 0.0001.
