A nationwide population-based study by researchers from Shinshu University, Japan, reveals variations in the incidence and risk of colorectal cancer across patients with different subgroups of steatotic liver disease (SLD), namely metabolic dysfunction-associated SLD (MASLD), MASLD with increased alcohol intake, and alcohol-associated liver disease.
