Tumor metastasis is a multi-step cascade process driven by molecular factors such as genetic mutations, epigenetic changes, and post-translational modifications. The tumor microenvironment (TME) plays a complex role in metastasis, particularly in regulating cell-cell interactions, tumor invasion, and immune evasion. Emerging biomarkers and therapeutic strategies offer new potential for the treatment of tumor metastasis.
