The SwRI-UTSA team numbered somas in various colors to visually assess the algorithm’s tracking performance over time. The technique detected somas automatically tracked from image 1 (top left) to image 2 (top right). Zoomed-in examples from the same images are shown in the bottom left and right images, respectively.
