Prof. Dr. Dirk Haller is a Professor of Nutrition and Immunology at TUM and director of the ZIEL – Institute for Food and Health. PD Dr. Tobias Schwerd is Head of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Dr. von Hauner Children's Hospital (LMU University Hospital Munich). In a joint study, they demonstrated how the gut microbiome changes during nutritional therapy. Building on this, a clinical study is now launching at the Dr. von Hauner Children's Hospital.
